Lesley Cusack

55 year old Lesley Cusack engages in sleep eating! It sounds harmless, but Lesley has had to totally change her eating habits during waking hours and join a gym to combat her 2500 calorie a night habit. She also puts the family at risk by using her gas oven while asleep, but the worst part of all is that it is not always food she consumes – she has also been known to eat paint, vaseline and washing powder.

Just Taking a Nap

One night around 2am, a man walking home noticed a terrifying sight. A young girl curled up at the top of a 130 foot high crane! He called the emergency services and fireman climbed up to find a teenage girl fast asleep. They were afraid to wake her in case she was startled and so took her phone and called her parents who called her back to wake her as the firemen secured her. She had walked to the construction site and scaled the crane while sleeping!

James Currens

James Currens had been sleepwalking for a long time, but it was not until he was 77 years old that things got scary. In 1998, he got up and walked out of his house to a nearby pond. When he woke, he was chest deep in water, but was unable to get out as he was stuck in the mud. This alone was terrifying, but then he found himself surrounded by alligators. Thankful his shouts attracted police who managed to rescue him.

Timothy Bruggeman

The strange thing about Timothy Bruggeman’s story is that he had no prior history of sleepwalking. In, fact he had actually suffered from terrible insomnia for several years. However, one day he was so exhausted that he fell asleep at the wheel of his truck and got into an accident. After that he was prescribed Ambien which is actually linked to sleepwalking. In January 2009, Bruggeman had a sleepwalking episode in which he left his house wearing only underwear. He was found the next morning frozen to death.

An Australian woman had some serious problems as a result of sleepwalking. Over the course of several months, while sleepwalking the woman would get up, leave her house and engage in sexual intercourse with complete strangers. Neither she or her partner had any idea what was happening until he woke one night to find her gone and went in search of her only to find her having sex with a stranger. They were both devastated to learn of such risky behaviour, but thankfully the woman underwent a course of treatment that has stopped her sleepwalking.

Kenneth Parks

One of the most famous sleepwalkers of all time is probably Canadian man Kenneth Parks. On May 23rd 1987, Parks got out of bed and drove the 14 miles to his In-Laws home where he murdered his mother-in-law and severely injured his father-in-law using a tire iron all while still asleep! He turned himself if and was actually found not guilty having had an excellent relationship with his wife’s family, which his wife attested to in court.

‘Funny dad’ Becks Embarrasses Son on Social Media

It’s funny enough when parents owns their kids in Social Media, but Beck’s is unexpected…

Whoever person are you, you definitely had parents because you’re here. If not, then that’s already impossible. But let’s all admit it, we have been owned by our parents more than once and more than we wanted to be. And let’s just say that we have been feeling the same towards being embarrassed in public, but we still loved our parents nonetheless. But, apparently, people are still people and parents are still parents. Although there may be some who doesn’t really own their kids on purpose, but there will still be those parents that will try and own you. And who knew that the former football player of Manchester United has this hobby of owning his children? Well, its his children anyway, so what are we doing here?

That is such a tough question, but really, we just want to make fun of how David Beckham is owning his son, Brooklyn Beckham. They’re nice guys (and handsome), but seriously, we’re not really sure if David is just having fun teasing him, or he’s just seriously unaware of it. Anyway, Brooklyn posted a photo in Instagram the other day and being a model, he had a great quality photo with a caption, “Rocking the old school Ralph Lauren”. But that’s not really the problem here, apparently, the 16-year old was wearing something that was not his, or so David claims. After noticing the photo, David commented on his photo stating that “that’s my jumper”. Oh no. That is such a disaster. We wouldn’t want our parents tell anyone that we’re wearing borrowed clothes or hand-me-downs from them, right?

Especially when you even stated that you were rocking those nice clothes. Good grief, why did Becks do that? That was super embarrassing. But apparently, the damage has been done and thus, this story is circulating on the web.

But this wasn’t the first time that David embarrassed his son in Social Media. Once upon a time, he was scrolling down on his followers in social media and noticed that he’s got many followers that were over 52 Million. He seems happy about it, and started to check his family’s accounts, but well, apparently, he and his wife were the most popular with a lot of followers and his kids doesn’t have as much as his, and naturally, that was because they were just starting in the industry, but well, David must have been bored, because he eventually made fun of his son, Brooklyn and claimed that he has notched up followers of over 52 Million and his just had 1 Million.

So, okay, that was funny, but what a pain in the ass. We totally understand what Brooklyn felt, because once upon a time, we were once owned in very different ways and probably much more embarrassing ways.

But even if they do that, we still love them and give them hugs anyway. Because seriously, what would we really do without them? If anything, we should thank them, right? Even when we got embarrassed.

''Men do not like funny women, or do they?''

Women are curious, but do men like funny women or what?

Certainly, this is being an issue of a slight feminism in some part. But whatever the reason behind the article of The Atlantic entitled, The Plight of the Funny Female. It will definitely catch your eye, but this is an article wherein it stated that funny women are not really well regarded by men and was backed up by a lot of studies regarding the issue. We certainly think that they may have been proving a point, but a point where it is biased to the male population. Not all agree and a lot of women were saddened to hear about of this article, but the main point of this is that the women are funny, but the male does not accept. So why did the argument ended up like that? And naturally, the article received a lot of feedbacks good and bad.

And there is this man, Simon Pegg, which certainly does not agree with what the article has provided him. Instead of being bummed about it, he became certainly pissed for the reason that he, himself admits that he likes funny women. He had told GLAMOUR what he really felt with the article and it seems that he thinks that whoever were the men the article was talking about, it’s certainly someone who is insecure and does not keep an open mind. He also said that it may have also been because “Wit is an indication of intelligence and intelligence is a threat to elitism.” He also stated that the male is just not open to new things because, back in the 80’s ‘female comedy’ was born and with it comes jokes about the things that women feel. Then came in jokes about the feminine side of women that, clearly, men do not understand. Women usually joke about their menstrual cycles and such and most men don’t think that it’s funny.

Simon admitted that he also do not see those kinds of jokes as funny, but he thinks that “finding humor in the experience is a necessity and a key to democratizing this nascent comic voice.” So he definitely thinks that its normal. Men might not laugh, but women will be laughing so hard, they wont be able to breathe. He also thinks that “laughing in the face of adversity is a means of dismantling fear and stigma.”

“I’ll give mention to the female that makes me laugh most profoundly and consistently, my daughter. At six years old, she has ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ is. Not just saying and doing the things that children do but knowing what makes me laugh, knowing how to send me into fits of giggles, when I’m trying to be serious or strict. I hope she has it forever, I hope nobody ever tells her that it’s wrong or makes her feel like she shouldn’t. And I would hope that time has passed.

Funny women of the world unite and take over. The world will be better for it.”

Well, certainly agree since we’re a fan of the female community, and there will always be a place for women in this world even if some will disagree.

Erdstall

The exact origins and purpose of the Erdstall tunnels is unknown, but they date back to the Middle Ages. Most are fairly small, barely tall enough to walk through. The tunnels have no artefacts in them and no written mention of them exists. Some would say they are tennels of spiritual connections and could have been used as prisons for demons, dwarves and the undead!

Derinkuyu

Derinkuyu is an ancient Turkish city which could have housed up to 50 thousand people! It extended 11 stories deep and was built in the 7th or 8th century as a place where Christians could hide from persecution. Turkey is actually full of underground cities like this, because the volcanic rock is easy to carve/

The Catacombs

With Paris’ graveyards overflowing in the late 18th century, the graves were exhumed and the bones were arranged in existing subterranean tunnels. It is estimated that around 6 million people’s remains are in the catacombs. Only a small portion of the catacombs are open to the public, but there are dozens of secret entrances all over Paris. The majority of them have never been mapped and getting lost is almost certainly a death sentence. Illegal raves have been held down there and rumour has it that some satanic cults and witches covens hold rituals in the caverns.

Leavenworth

Leavenworth is a small town in Kansas where residents discovered three blocks of abandoned storefronts underground!No-one has any idea why they were down there or what they were used for!

Hypogeum Of Hal-Saflieni

A 6,000 year old magalithic structure known as the Hypogeum of Hal-Saflieni was discovered on Malta in 1902. It is the only known prehistoric temple in the world. It appears that the 3 storey structure has been designed to purposely manipulate and produce sensory effects. It is said that when you stand in certain spots, a chilling male voice reverberates throughout the chamber.

Moose Jaw

The picturesque Canadian town of Moose Jaw has a secret lurking beneath its streets! An extensive network of tunnels runs under the town complete with what used to be shops, factories and homes! Chinese immigrants lived and worked there in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and rumour has it that Al Capone used them for smuggling!

Actun Tunichil Muknal

Deep in the jungles of Belize you will find an hourglass shaped doorway which leads to Actun Tunichil Muknal. If you continue to follow the underground river you would then happen upon the skeleton of an 18 year old girl. Her bones have been there for over 1000 years and have calcified, giving a glittering crystal like appearance. It is believed that the girl was sacrificed to the Gods. She is affectionately known as The Crystal Maiden

Barry Troglodyte Village

The Barry Troglodyte Village is nothing short of amazing. It is carved into a hillside overlooking Rhone in France. These homes have been occupied continuously for hundreds, or maybe even thousands of years. There is evidence to suggest neolithic tribes stayed there and they have been inhabited right up until the early twentieth century!

Chauvet Cave

Chauvet Cave is found in Southern France and contains the earliest known cave paintings. Some 420 paintings have been found including detailed animals and abstract dots and handprints. What astounds experts is the 3D effects and realistic style of the work which seems far too sophisticated for the time.

Petra

Not all cities are striving to reach for the sky! The underground city of Petra was built in Jordan some time in the 2nd century by the Nabataeans. It features hundreds of dwellings carved into the rocks including a massive monastery!

Meet the woman with the longest legs in America

Is there such a thing such as the longest legs?

Is there such a thing, of course there is! And not all are blessed with long legs and a great height. In average, an American woman will be of height of 5 ft 4, and that is just the average. And unfortunately, only tall people can fight with this woman who claims to have the longest legs. Her legs are exactly 51 inches long, beating the record of Holly Burt’s legs of 49.5 inches. And of course, it’s understandable that you might be thinking that they might have been giants, but Chase Kennedy is just 6 ft 5. Okay, yeah, she could pass for a giant. And at least, it’s just for the opinion of those who are not blessed with a little more height. And understandably, Chase is from a tall family that ever since she was a kid, she would want to be small so she could blend in. It wasn’t such a big deal, and for Chase to instead be a target for bullies, she has been made confident of her height.

It was actually weird to hear that, especially when she has been growing tall and are even taller to some guys. But it looks like she has been empowered by the many tall people around her and this has resulted to her having the confidence. And now, the 22 year-old is a student and a model at the same time. She must be able to take advantage of her height, right? And instead of having to not do anything about herself, she started to join the basketball team and volleyball team of her schools and she took great advantage of her height.

She said that with sports, she can use her height and not want to get smaller than she really is. She has been confident and is embracing herself much better than others. “I would not change my height. I’d be the height I am. At the end of the day, I’m really happy to be as tall as I am,” she told Barcroft Media.

Anyway, she has come from a family of tall people. Obviously her dad is tall with almost having a height of 7 ft, but his actual height was 6 ft 7. And it’s no wonder that she would be having the same genes as her dad. She also has two brothers who also have a height of 6 ft 5 and 6 ft 6 respectively. With only being 5 in their household, her mom is the only one who is the shortest, but even she is tall with the height of 5 ft 11.

That was such an amazing set of tall people. It’s no wonder that she said to Barcroft Media that “whenever they were eating out or watching a movie as a family, having to have our heights put together, especially in the cinemas when we will take up a row, we would eventually be making a wall. “ And that was such a thing that we’re sure they have been laughing about.

ERASER HELPS PROVE MEDIEVAL PARCHMENTS WERE MADE OF ADULT ANIMAL SKINS

Reading has never been the same when the paper was invented, since, a very long time ago. We were able to read and understand and that’s what separated us from the rest of the animals. We have this hunger for knowledge that we have to eventually fill up. And without paper, we have probably read tales and such on the walls. That gives me such a headache just thinking about it. But reading has been changing every time. That also means that our ways to read and have also been evolving. And it’s not a very gradual thing, but rather a slightly drastic one, if that’s applicable.

Just a decade ago, you wouldn’t be staring at your screen just to red this article. We had to publish a book first before we can let you know that parchment was made of adult animal skins. But reading has evolved so much and we now have this computer that we use in order to read articles such as this. It easier since we crave for convenience and knowledge at the same time and it seems that we always have something up our sleeves.

Well, of course you may have known that parchment is from animal skins since you may be using parchment, but the thing is, we want to share to you how we actually confirmed that. Researchers knew that parchment is from animal skins, but some myths that the really thin parchments were from aborted newborns of cows and whatnot, and they were skeptical about that. They knew that it wasn’t that, but they had to confirm it for evidence’s sake.

So, out of curiosity, they just had to find out. And what else will they use to gain what they needed from the parchment? Nothing else, but the good and trusty eraser. They used a PVC eraser in order to obtain proteins from 72 parchments from the 13th century scripts and bibles where most of the world’s most important pieces were written by hand by people who have long gone this world. And most of all, they are not allowed to ruin it in any way.

And what do you know that an eraser can be that helpful? They just erased the parts of the parchments where there is no writing and carried on from there. They used the proteins that they got from the parchments to let them indicate what kind of skin that parchment is from and what kind of animals and how old were they when it was taken. Well, of course they would also want to know where those animals might have come from.

And as it turned out, the ever so popular parchment was made of adult sheep and cow skins. They have just recently published the study that they did in PNAS and with that, they found that the truth is just as simple as they thought. No need to be cruel to the maker of the parchments people.undefined
